This conference which took place for the 3rd time in early November 2011 aims to explore various dimensions of what it takes to be leading the way in corporate sustainability. Given the strong alignment of the conference's aims and the mission and vision of the Humanistic Management Center we were proud to support this event by following the invitation of EAN University to lead one of the plenary sessions. In it Ernst von Kimakowitz gave a speech on Stakeholder Dialogue which was followed by an exciting and fruitful discussion, moderated by Carlos Mario Reyes Rodríguez, EANs Dean of the Faculty of Liberal Arts.
It was also during this event where, jointly with our host, EAN University, Fordham University from New York and the Humanistic Management Network, we presented a company with the Recognition for Humanistic Management Practices for the first time. The 2011 recognition was received by the Brazilian Semco Group and presented to João Vendramim Neto by Michael Pirson of Fordham University, Carlos Largacha Martinez of EAN University and Ernst von Kimakowitz of the Humanistic Management Center.
